Fallen

     Fallen by Lauren Kate is the first book in a series about mysteries, angels, love, and danger. I loved it! Has anyone else noticed how books come in trends? First vampires and werewolves now angels. I'm not complaining because I love angel books, but let's get some originality here authors!

     Luce is not excited to be at boarding school. She is forced to attend because of the mysterious death of her boyfriend. Who else can you blame when she was the only one with him? Adding to that she sees shadows. She has seen them her whole life. They float around never interfering with her life... until now.

     Luce meets Daniel, a familiar looking boy who seems to want to stay as far away from her as possible. As a matter of fact, the people at school either hate her or love her, and they all seen to know something that she doesn't. Something that affects every ones lives.

     Finally, Luce learns the truth. The scary, unrealistic truth. Daniel is an angel, and he meets her every 17 years. And after they meet she dies. Then the cycle starts over again and again.  Something is different this time. There will be a war. Luce's life is on the line, but what can she do to stop the course of fate?
