Angel Burn

Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly... my first Net Galley book. (Also called Angel.) Let me just say that it was pretty darn awesome! Haha. I hope your weekend was good. Mine was busy with volleyball, so I'm really tired and sore... Here's the review! (Sorry for the blurry picture! This is the cover that was on Net Galley, but there is also an original cover. You guys will have to search it to find it because I am having trouble getting it on here with my computer!)

Willow is human. Or is she an angel? It turns out that she is a half-angel. The only one of her kind. Being half-angel gives her a gift. The ability to "read" people. In other words, she can see their past, present, and their plans for the future.
After Willow reads a girl in her class, she finds out that there are angels. Bad angels who suck the energy out of humans. Angels that want to take over the world. Willow tells the girl not to interact with the angel, but she does anyway. The girl's angel finds out that Willow knows that they are trying to dominate the world, and the angel spreads the news. Willow is now trying to be killed by all of the angels, and the only person who can help her is Alex, the angel killer.
When finally Alex gets Willow away from immediate danger, they find that it is hard to get along. Willow was practically kidnapped by a complete stranger, and Alex has to be on alert all the time, just in case Willow is really a dangerous angel. By the time Alex and Willow express their true feelings, a plan is made. One that is supposed to destroy the angels. One that is very dangerous for Willow. Alex gets angry because Willow is going to put herself in danger. He lets her go without even saying goodbye. Will he ever see her again, or will the plan kill Willow? *Phae Phae*

Follow Friday(5)

I'm sorry I wasn't here this week! I was lazy and wasn't reading, so I didn't have anything to review. Anyway, Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View.

Today's Question: What is/was your favorite subject in school?
That's a hard question. I like school! Almost everything in it. My only problem with school is getting up early and going home in the middle of the afternoon just to do homework... If you can't tell, I have a lot of homework! I think I would have to chose English has my favorite subject. I really like the writing assignments that we get in that class. Plus, it is the easiest class for me. I don't have to try very hard to get an A. My second favorite class is math. I know that math isn't usually that fun, but I like being able to figure out problems that even my parents can't do! Have an amazing Friday! *Phae Phae*

Nightshade

Nightshade is an awesome book written by Andrea Cremer. I'm not going to lie, this book was very predictable, however,  it was another GREAT book.

Follow Friday(4)

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkees View. Thanks for coming to my blog!
Today's Question is:
Who do you cheer for?

That is a hard question for me. I don't really have a team. For football, I personally like the Colts, or maybe the Saints, or maybe the Patriots... I don't know.  I just don't like the Steelers. Other than that... any team gets my vote. So... who do you cheer for? *Phae Phae*

Jolt

This review is for Jolt by Saba over at Saba's Awesome Reviews. I'm just going to say... it was awesome. I was sitting on my bed reading as fast as I could because nothing was turning out as I expected. I'm soooo glad I got to read it. Unfortunately this book isn't published, so it isn't available for reading. (Unless Saba gets it published.)

Brielle Easton is new to Oakwood Boarding School. Despite being hated by the richest, most popular girl in school, Bri is having a great time. Her friends are great, and her boyfriend is even better. She didn't think that anything would go wrong at school, but bad things start happining. Someone is trying to get to Bri, and that person isn't going to stop until they find her.
Brielle has a strange problem. When ever she touches her friend, Kim, she passes out, but she doesn't just black out, she has a vision. A vision of a man. A man who has been spotted around school. A man who is looking for her. Bri and her friends are trying to find more information about the man before he starts hurting people, but they don't. A girl from Oakwood is killed, and everyone suspects the man. The problem is, the man is too sneaky to find.
Things go from bad to worse when Kim is taken. Bri and her friends have to save her before it's too late, but they find out that they suspected the wrong people. Or did they? Will Kim be okay? Will Bri find the courage to face the killer?*Phae Phae*

I Am Number Four

I finished I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. It's the first book in the Lorien Legacies Series, and I can't wait to read the next book which comes out on June 7!!! This book was pretty long, and it took me awhile to get through, but it was totally worth it! Another thing I look forward to is the movie. That's right, there is going to be a movie. It will star Alex Pettyfer as Number Four and will be in theaters on February 18! That's enough about the future, here's the review:

Nine aliens arrived on Earth. They came from the planet Lorien and are being hunted. They can only be killed in numerical order because they have a spell cast on them. The first three have been killed by the Mogadorians. Number Four is next. Number Four has taken the identity of John.
Number Four is starting over again. This time will be different though. His name will be John and he will have actual friends. John needs to be careful. The Mogadorians are on his trail and he can't do anything that will draw attention to himself. That is a harder task than he expected. John is developing powers that are strengthened by emotion. It's hard to keep them under control when kids at school are trying to get him angry. John keeps his temper though, and he makes friends. Life is a lot better when you have people around you, even if you are on the run.
One mistake that John makes ruins everything. The Mogadorians find him and his friends. There is nothing they can do but fight. They have to kill every last one of them. It's a huge task, and John isn't ready for it, but he doesn't have a choice. Will John and his friends make it out of the battle alive, or will lives be lost?

Fixing Delilah

My first review of the year is going to be... Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler. This was a good book. It's not my favorite, but it's up towards the top.

Delilah never knew her dad. It was always just her and her mom. She was alone a lot of the time because her mom was very secretive and had become a workaholic. Delilah had accepted her life. She was giving minimum effort in everything. It had been that way for along time, but her life changed that summer. The summer when her grandmother died, and she had to go to Vermont. The summer in Vermont changed Delilah's life, and she realized that she could do so much more with her life; she could be happy.
While in Vermont, Delilah started to find clues as to why she and her mom never visited her grandmother. She got curious and wondered what lies her mother had told her. Delilah went and talked to her mother, and she found out the truth. It turns out that she didn't necessarily want to know the truth. Delilah was hurt, and she turned to her old friend, Little Ricky. He comforted her, but she realized that she had to go back and talk to her mom because no matter what, they were family, and family is always there for you. *Phae Phae*
