Beautiful Creatures

     It took me awhile, but I finally finished Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.  I have to say it was kind of confusing for me, but that is probably because I kept reading and stopping and reading and stopping. I really like Beautiful Creatures and I CAN'T wait to read Beautiful Darkness. Okay, here is my review:

     Ethan Wate met Lena Duchannes and couldn't stay away.  Lena is a Caster (a witch), who has a cursed family. When she turns sixteen, she will either turn Good or Bad. She is afraid she will go dark like all of the others in her family tree. Lena's birthday is one of the only things she fears. The other is losing Ethan. The two have a connection never seen before. A mortal and a caster can not be together. It never works. Ever. But yet they pull through. Fighting their families, their community, and the darkness. Is it too much for them to handle? With normal teenage problems, historical flashbacks, experimental spells, and all the other caster stuff, Ethan and Lena have a lot to deal with. With Lena's birthday looming in the near future, how will Ethan and Lena stay together? Will they be safe? *Phae Phae*

Firelight

     I just finished the book Firelight by Sophie Jordan! I loved it. It is probably my favorite book right now. I finished it in one night because once I started reading I didn't want to stop.
Right in the begining the action started; that is one of things I loved about Firelight. I am  drawn to books where the beginnings start off at a fast pace. They make my heart race, and I have a really hard time putting them down. Here is my review:

Firelight is about a fire breathing draki named Jacinda. Jacinda is very free spirited, and that gets her in  a lot of trouble.  After she barely escapes her death, with the help of a hunter named Will, Jacinda's mom forces her and her twin sister, Tamra, to move away from their home. Jacinda is furious. She doesn't want to leave, and on top of that, she has to go to public school. The place were kids go, five days a week, to be around a bunch of other kids that are there to learn knew things. One of those kids happens to be Will. Anytime Jacinda gets near him she feels her natural instincts kick in. That is the opposite of what her family wants to happen. They want her to permanently become human; they want her to kill the draki inside of her. Will is stopping that process, and her family wants her to stay away from him, but what does she want? She has her secrets and Will has his, but when  the draki come looking for her, she and Will have to decided to stay apart for their own protection, or fight for what they want. *Phae Phae*



Winter 2010

     Can you believe it is December??? I know I can't. November went by reallllly super fast. Even with all of the homework I had it was speedy quick. Are you guys looking forward to the snowy season, or not? I'm not. I like seeing the snow fall and baking cookies, but I don't like being cold or trudging through snow.
     Right at this very moment I am looking outside through my window at all of the lights on the houses. It looks pretty amazing! The neighborhood is now bright, colorful, and sparkly. It is gorgeous! I promise to have some book reviews out soon! I know you are probably tired of my blah blah blah posts, so I am going to go now. Keep warm! *Phae Phae*

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

     HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I have many things to be thankful for, but most importantly I am thankful for food, shelter, family, and friends. There are so many other things too! I can't even begin to list them on my post. Do you know why??? Because I have a list of over 2,000! I encourage you to start a list! It really helps to look at all the great things you have.
     What is everybody doing today? I got up at 8:30 and started typing my story for NaNoWriMo. Then I turned on the tv and watched part of the Macy's Day Parade. I love watching it! Now, I'm going to go and eat my thanksgiving feast provided by my awesome mother!
     I hope everyone gets to eat lots of good food and then take a nap! I know that is what I will be doing. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! *Phae Phae*

OMG GUESS WHAT I JUST REALIZED!

     TODAY IS MY BLOGS 3 MONTH ANNIVERSARY!!!  Wow! I just realized this. Haha. I have had a blog for 3 months. That is mind blowing. I am very pumped right now!!!(If you couldn't tell by all of the exclamation marks...) So, yah. Thanks everybody who reads my blog. I am very glad you take the time to check it every once and a while. Well, that is it for now... Peace Out!

I'm Alive!

     So, I didn't die or anything! I just haven't been on in a really long time!!! I was preoccupied with Halloween and NaNoWriMo!!!
     Halloween was amazing! I got a lot of candy even though I'm probably to old for trick-or-treating...=D I went as a spy! It was amazing! I'm eating a Twix bar as I type this. HAHA.
     So, anyone else doing NaNoWriMo? For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a contest in the month of November that challenges you to write 50,000 words in 30 days... Dun Dun Dun! It probably sounds to hard, right, but think about how you would feel after you finish! I'm so excited to write. It will be the longest novel I have written. (Only because I haven't gotten past ten pages on my other ones. So, ya, you fellow readers and writers should join, IT'S NOT TO LATE!
     I have to get back to writing, so if I am not on for a while it is because I'm slaving away at my story! TTYL-*Phae Phae*
