Academy 7...

     Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I have been feeling lazy! Today's post is a review about Anne Osterlund's Academy 7. In this book, Aerin Renning is the female character hiding from her past. She is accepted for her freshman year at Academy 7 along with rebellious, sneaky, good-for-nothing, Dane Madousin. Always fighting, Dane and Aerin learn to deal with each other, and then they even start to become friends. After learning little parts of each others pasts, they realize that they would be safer if they separated. Just like always, the two can't bare to separate, and they cause a lot of trouble at the Academy. Curios about her past, Aerin pulls Dane in to a dangerous scheme that might get them both killed. Will they be able to escape alive or will one of them have to sacrifice their life?

Spooky Reading Challenge...

     I really don't think that I will finish all of my books for Katie's Spooky Reading Challenge! I have read like three out of ten... I can't find the books at the library, and let's face it, I don't have enough money to go out and buy seven books!!! I promise I will read every single book soon though. I won't leave you waiting for one of my -cough, cough- ...interesting... book reviews! I'm guessing that you guys are getting tired of me posting random things, so my next post will be a book review on Academy 7! Until then...*Phae Phae*

Tired!

     School is so tiring! Guess what? My bus almost got hit by a train today... I was so scared at the time, but now I keep telling people about it and laughing! It's sort of a long story, so I'm not going to post it, but if you leave a comment asking about it I'll tell you. I am really tired, so I'm not posting any reviews, but I am going to upload a video! Chasing Yesterday #3

     Aren't you glad it's Friday??? Chasing Yesterday #3 is called Truth. If you can't infer this from the title, J.D. finds out the truth. Dun, dun, dun... I did guess that Dr.______ was really the good guy. I'm not going to tell you who the good guy is of course, but I will tell you that it is sort of surprising! J.D. has been caught. She knows what she is and what she was CREATED to do. If you didn't catch my hint there, J.D. was created by scientists to be a weapon. Are you surprised I told you? I only mentioned this information because it was on the back of the book!  Anyway, J.D. is still in danger, and she needs to learn to control herself, or she could put everyone, including herself, in danger. Can J.D. escape captivity and save everyone???

Chasing Yesterday #2

     Okay, I'm going to get right into it! Chasing Yesterday #2 is called Betrayal. In this book,  J.D. is on the run trying to find out who she really is, and she is being chased by Dr. Styron, the evil doctor! She has had memories implanted in her brain, and she knows she can not trust herself. Daniel and J.D. have to find out who J.D. is before they are found. Can they do it, or will they be caught by the bad guys?
     Like I said yesterday, I really like these books! It's so cool how the characters have to face their fears to solve their problems. I'm really glad I read these books! I'm really getting into mysteries, so expect some more mystery reviews! *Phae Phae*

Chasing Yesterday #1

     Hey! I have recently been reading the Chasing Yesterday series. In these next few days, I will have the reviews for these books!

     The first book is Awakening by Robin Wasserman. This book is about a girl named Jordan, or J.D. who wakes up one day with no memories what so ever. She doesn't what happened to her, why she was in an huge explosion, or where she belongs. Even though not remembering anything is bad, it might be better then remembering! J.D. knows she is in danger because she feels uneasy all the time. When her mother comes to get her, she should feel better, safe, and at home, right? WRONG! J.D. knows she has to find answers, but does she want to?!? I love these books! The covers are so creative. As the series progress, the covers get more and more clear. You guys should read these books! The are easy reads and really suspenseful! *Phae Phae*

Wings!

     It occurred to me that I have read a lot fantasy books lately! I love them all. I just read Wings by Aprilynne Pike. First of all, I love the author's name. It's so cool! Second, I love the book, and it's really creative. Laurel, the main character, has been home schooled all her life, and then her parents send her to school! She hates school until she meets David. David becomes her best friend and helps her get through growing "wings". That's right, Laurel grows a flower in the shape of wings! She doesn't grow it in the garden or anything, it grows out of her back! Weird right? Laurel is thrown into a new world full of mythical creatures! She is expected to know what she is doing, but she is really completely clueless. In addition to that, she has to fight off an evil troll trying to get into the faeries magical land called Avalon! I wouldn't be okay with being human one day and a faerie the next, would you? You guys should read this book! *Phae Phae*

Spooky...

     Spooky is a really good adjective for the book Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. This book is amazing! It's 391 pages of awesome suspense. I can't wait for the next book!
     Hush, Hush is about a girl named Nora Grey who is starting to become a danger magnet! She gets a knew biology partner and hates him right away... His name is Patch, and he is a fallen angel. Nora is fighting a invisible pull toward Patch while also being followed by some mysterious, shady character! Who is causing all of this trouble? Patch? Will Nora be safe or will she get hurt? Prada and Prejudice!

     Helloooooooo. I recently read Prada and Prejudice by Mandy Hubbard. This book is about a teenage girl named Callie. She convinces her mother to let her go on a school trip to London! She is the geek among a bunch  of  popular girls and wants to fit in. To do so, she buys a pair of Prada heels. She is a major klutz and ends up tripping before even taking more then ten steps. She hits the ground and passes out. When she wakes up she is in 1815.  Callie is desperate to get home. She is willing to steal someone elses  identity if it will get her home. What can Callie do? Will she be stuck in 1815 forever?     I loved this book! It was super awesome and creative. My favorite character was of course, Alex! I loved it when to people hate each other, it's so funny! I have to go, but you need to read this book! *Phae Phae*

Spooky Reading Challenge!

     I finished number 10 on my book list! Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog is about a almost 16 year old Morgan Sparks who gets into a weird situation. Morgan's boyfriend Cam Browne is turning into a fairy and is supposed to go to another world and be the Fairy King! That's weird right?! Guess what, he has a replacement. So, not only is Morgan losing her boyfriend, she is getting a replacement boyfriend. Determined to be selfish and keep her boyfriend, Morgan sets up a plan to send Cam's replacement, Pip, to the fairy world instead of Cam. Did I mention that Morgan gets visions??? I don't think I did. Morgan can usually see the future, but she can't tell what will happen to her plan. She is ALMOST starting to be okay with the idea of swapping boyfriends! Also, Morgan is being threatened by another fairy named Dawn. Soooooooooooooo much drama! What's going to happen? I'm not going to tell you!!! If you have read Sleepless, the ending is sort of the same! Goodbye for now... *Phae Phae*
